FHS Nordic Ski - overview map to Bristol Mtn Nordic Center<title> </head> <body><h2>FHS Nordic Ski -- overview map & directions to Bristol Mountain Summit Nordic Center</h2> <p>The following map shows the overview of how Route 64 intersects with County Road 32 and how South Hill Road intersects with County Road 32:</p> <img src="http://xcski.newcs-wondorama.com//maps/map_MBSNC_dec2007_overview_a.jpg" border="0"> <ul> <li>Take Route 64 South (Rte 64 is Main St in Pittsford & it is Mendon Rd south of Pittsford)</li> <li>At Bristol Center, turn right (head west) onto County Road 32. There is a Sunoco gas station on the right</li> <li>As you approach the top of a hill at about the 1.5 mile mark (there's a bend to the left in the road at this point), you will see an intersection. Turn left at this intersection onto South Hill Rd. It turns into a dirt road after 100 yards</li> <li>Follow South Hill Road to the very end, about 4.8 miles, look for yellow gates. WARNING #1 - about 3 miles into South Hill Road there is an S bend - approach this with caution. WARNING #2 - After you've been on South Hill Rd forever, it may appear to become a dead end; this is the old bus turn-around - bear left, the yellow gates should be visible at this point.</li> <li>Drive though the yellow gates; the Nordic Center is 0.2 miles from the gates. You may drop off your equipment at the Summit Nordic Ski Center, but must park off the east side of the road starting between the yellow gates and the Nordic Center. This means your car will off the road and will be facing in the returning-to-Fairport direction. Please do not park in the turn around area. </li> <li>At the BM Summit Nordic Center, see the "Closed" sign that has a red circle-with-slash-over-a-skier? We think it means don't drive past this point. So far this season, it hasn't meant the Nordic Center or trails are closed. </li> </ul> NOTE: It is 12+ miles by road from the front parking lot at the Bristol Mountain Ski & Snowboard Resort to the Bristol Mountain Summit Nordic Center. </body> </html
